Strange Machine invented in WW2

I have started reading an interesting novel of a popular book author that deals with the enigmatic machine that was purportedly invented by German scientists before the end of the second world war. The prologue of the story tells about the creation of such device in a converted mine somewhere in the mountainous western parts of present day Poland in eastern Europe. The device, simply referred to as "Die Glocke" or The Bell has been secretly developed with the aim of creating a powerful weapon that could be used against the Allies to turn the tide of the war in favor of the weakening Nazis. unfortunately, there was not enough time for them to complete the project as the Allies has continued to advance in all fronts. It was too late to save Nazi Germany from being defeated. So the worried German military officials decided to destroy all technologies that were developed by their scientists and hide some sophisticated inventions in places that will remain unknown to the Allies for many decades to come, all of this has been carried out to preserve these advanced technologies until the rebirth of the Nazi state.

When I came up with this story, I did a research to confirm the validity of this incident. And, to my surprise, My search did produced several results that gives some historical accounts about it. The claim of the existence of such device has been first published by a Polish world war 2 soldier somewhere in the late 1990's. According to him, Soviet forces in world war 2 uncovered an evacuated mine which appears to have been converted to serve as a secret research and development facility. They found several dozen dead scientists which appears to have been murdered for their knowledge about the device. And a large spacious area in the facility left some traces of mechanical prints which suggests that a huge machine was once situated in that place. Great efforts has been made to search for the missing device. But until now, the hidden location of the strange device still remains unknown.

Making a good start with the right habits

I have learned my lesson the last time I took my exam unprepared so now I'm investing more efforts to review my notes before taking up any exam. I started first by reading the lectures that I have written down on my notebook every evening to refresh my memory about the lessons that have been discussed on that particular day. The second thing that I did was pay a closer attention to the professor’s lecture during the entire scope of the discussion. These two routines proved very effective in improving my grades in many of my quizzes and exams. So I look forward to making these practices become an integral part of my learning habits.

Reality Check 101: group discussion without member participation.

Ok so after attending a not so satisfying lecture at my Audit subject, I was left with no other choice but to join my groupmates in their visit to the hospital to check the latest updates about the condition of the patient that they have chosen to present in our group presentation which was scheduled to be held in the next following weeks. After reaching the hospital our group immediately went to the highest floor where the patient is presently confined. Once inside the room, little assessment was made on the patient and most of the time was consumed with pointless questions that don’t really add up to the essential information that was necessary for the group presentation.

And then shortly after the visit, we were required to attend yet an another group meeting at the residence of one of my group member. The meeting was perhaps the most boring period of my day. We did virtually nothing but sit and listen while some of the more talkative members of the group discussed about pointless stories and topics that completely have no relation to the group report that we were supposed to work on. And then finally after an hour of useless talk and chattering, two of my group members decided to make an initial outline of one of the portion of the presentation. They worked on the outline selfishly while the rest of us just watched them doing nothing. What they did prompted me to ask myself this question, What is the use of inviting your groupmates to work on something if you're not going to involve them in doing the work at all? Its a colossal waste of time on our part to go to a place where all we have to do is sit and kill time just for the sake of making an impression that you're an active participant in events such as group meetings.

I just wish that this unpopular kind of habit be put to an end. People today must realize the genuine importance of time and must learn to use it wisely.

another unfortunate examination day

there are really some things that needs to be done. so im going to finish making this post despite the short time that I have. So this is how the story goes. Early in the afternoon our class lecturer discussed the continuation of her lesson that was cut short the other day because of some unexpected irregularities in her personal schedule. There was very little time to prepare for the exam that was due to be issued shortly before the class is dismissed. Finally when the exam has started, our class was only given a quarter of an hour to finish the very numerous test questionnaires. As I was taking the test I lost my track on the time and then a few moments later the professor declared that the time is up and that all test papers must be passed immediately. I still haven’t answered some of the latter questions in my paper and didn't appear to have some extra time to finish answering them all so what I did was guess my way to the last question and passed my paper to the professor hoping that I get lucky in some of the answers that I have guessed.

Hi. this will be my first entry in my blog.
